Exercise our Spirit and Love one another by Abiding in His Love

This is My commandment, that you love one another even as I have loved you. John 15:12

In John 15:12 the Lord commands us to love one another. The way we love one another is by abiding in His love.

We just have to abide in His love. This issue is in fruit bearing. Fruit bearing is for the expansion of God’s expression.

Romans 12:5 says so we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members one of another.

We are members not only of Christ, but members one of another as branches.

We impart Christ into others to make them a fellow branch and thus increase Christ’s expression.

These are the branches in action, producing fruit. The deeper pleasure of our abiding is experienced in the church life.

The church life is the best place to dispense the riches of Christ into others. I need the Lord Jesus.

I also need my fellow members in the body. In my own experience, when I struggle, there are members ready, ready who I can open up to and pray with.

When I lack enjoyment, there are members ready to dispense Christ into me. I am never alone I have my fellow branches.

The branches help care for each other by living the church life.

To live and to enjoy this church life, I must exercise my mingled spirit and I must open my heart to abide in the Lord.

John 15:17 says these things. I command you that you may love one another.

This love all begins with me choosing to abide in the Lord first. We are branches living a loving fruit-bearing church life.

This is our deepest pleasure today. This is what we see and experience when we abide in the Lord. Amen.
