Allow the Spirit to take the Lead in Enjoying the Lord!

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

This university conference was a much-needed reminder for me to keep my focus on the Lord.

As the weather is getting more depressing and I am starting to get more assignments for uni, it was becoming easy to forget the Lord as my joy and strength in these situations and for me to tackle these obstacles alone, with my own strength.

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

But this conference, I was reminded that through all the difficulties I face now and in the future, there is an opportunity for me to find my joy in Christ, and for Him to become even more rooted in me.

For us to obtain this joy, we must be willing to pay the price, due to there being so many worldly joys we seek, it is easy to become blinded to the joy of God.

That is why we must allow our spirit to take the lead in enjoying the Lord, as our natural life will only cause us to fall to sin.

Then the more we abide in the Lord, the more joy we will have, which hopefully then could become our reality.
