The Joy of the Triune God is becoming our Joy!

... do not be grieved, for the joy of Jehovah is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

The General Subject for the 2024 Autumn University Conference in UK was, The Two Joys.

The Joy Set Before Him: God’s eternal purpose centered on Christ and the church.

Jesus endured the cross for the joy of fulfilling this purpose, offering redemption and divine life. His love for the church is demonstrated by His sacrifice to sanctify and glorify her.

Believers are called to value the church as central to God’s plan and to dedicate themselves to building it as an expression of Christ’s love and purpose.

The Triune God is a God of Joy. The joy is a fundamental attribute of the Triune God.

It highlights that we experience true joy by connecting deeply with God, who imparts peace and joy as they abide in Him.

Christ is the source of joy for us, with a focus on abiding in Him, symbolized by the vine and branches, which brings fullness of joy.

The Holy Spirit plays a role, guiding us to live with divine joy and purpose. Experiencing and enjoying God brings lasting joy and fulfillment in the Christian life.

The Joy of Triune God Becoming our Joy: The true joy for Christians comes from a deep relationship with the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—by abiding in Christ’s love, living in unity with God, and experiencing the Holy Spirit’s joy.

Believers are called to be joyful in faith, experiencing Christ as their all-encompassing portion and source of divine joy, leading to a life filled with God’s glory and spiritual fulfillment.

The joy set before us as the Lord Jesus, who is coming for His bride, the Church, to be made ready through maturity, righteousness, and transformation.

The Church is seen as the bride and a corporate warrior, prepared through spiritual nourishment and warfare.

Furthermore, the concept of joy as strength, according to Nehemiah 8:10, emphasizes that the Lord’s joy is independent of circumstances and is rooted in knowing and doing God’s will.

This joy, imparted by grace and mercy, sustains us and equips them to fulfill God’s purpose.
