I enjoyed many things from the uni conference but the one message that touched me the most was the special fellowship: ‘Conscience and Confession’.

What is Conscience? It is the organ which enables us to differentiate between right and wrong, good and evil.

As you may know, within the human spirit there are three main parts: Conscience, Fellowship and Intuition.

If we are wrong in the conscience, the fellowship is broken, and when the fellowship is broken, the intuition does not function, and hence the Conscience is the most important part of the Spirit.

If we have an impure Conscience, there is no way to have a strong contact with the Lord and we need to clean our Conscience.

One sentence from this message really touched me: ‘When man sinks deeper into sin, the feeling of the conscience is cast aside’.

This sentence touched me because sometimes I feel like I have reached that stage where I no longer feel the conscience within me and I cannot tell right from wrong or good from evil.

That showed me that my conscience is not pure and my conscience has been ‘branded’.

When a cow gets branded with a flaming hot rod. The skin of the cow that gets branded becomes numb (no feeling), likewise when we no longer sense that conscience within us, we have been ‘branded’.

Praise the Lord that we can regain this consciousness and this intimate fellowship with Him, and that is by confessing our sins.

By confessing our sins, confession will bring you into a recovery of intimate fellowship with the Lord, and confession will bring you into the enjoyment of God as the living water.

When we confess our sins, Christ as light is shined upon us and we are brought back to Him.

Praise the Lord, may we all learn to confess our sins and come back to this intimate relationship with the Lord! Amen.
